CARLSBAD, Calif. (June 23, 2008) – Noodle®+, the latest and greatest member of the Noodle franchise, is running for the office of "America's Ball," with the ever-eloquent Gary McCord serving as its spokesman. The platform is simple: long distance, soft feel, great price. Virtual campaign quarters opened last week at votenoodle.com, where visitors can find out what makes Noodle+ such a phenomenal performer and worthy candidate; watch and listen to Gary rant about the good, old-fashioned values that have made Noodle the leading contender in the long-and-soft race; and enter to win the chance to play a round of golf with Gary.

Vote Noodle

"This is a fun way for us to call attention to the attributes of Noodle+ during an election year," said Mike Ferris, vice president of TaylorMade-adidas Golf's golf ball division. "While too many political campaigns deteriorate into a complicated and convoluted morass of claims and promises, Noodle has always stood for great distance, great feel and great price. We want to remind people that it still does, and that Noodle+ is the best and the brightest of the Noodle lineage."

Earlier this year, a distance test conducted by GOLF Magazine among golf balls in several categories, revealed that Noodle+ ranked No. 2 behind the TaylorMade® TP Black™, and that Noodle+ Lady ranked No. 4.*

Gary's featured rant on votenoodle.com has him comparing Noodle to the simple goodness of a cup of coffee; additional rants will be added to the site periodically during the coming weeks.

The Vote Noodle theme is also supported at a multitude of off-course retailers where Noodle+ is sold, in the form of energetic point-of-sale displays featuring Gary as Uncle Sam.

"Noodle is an icon among golf balls," said Ferris. "It's time that golfers became reacquainted with the qualities that make it great. If you want to play the best-performing candidate in the long-and-soft category, we urge you to vote Noodle."
